Royal Yarns: Service and Selection.
We are the only a full-line knitting and crochet retailer on the internet. While most stores pick & choose what they sell from each manufacturer, we strive to sell their ENTIRE line: all yarns, all pattern books. We pick & choose the designers, but you pick & choose from their full line! If you are having trouble finding anything, either on our site or in the marketplace-at-large, give us call all we will try to find it for you. Inventory and Order Status
We publish real-time inventory levels for each item sold in our store. In addition, you can check the real-time order status by clicking the link located in the upper right-hand corner of our website, just above the Search box. The order status system will show items shipped with tracking numbers and any backorder items.
For in-stock items, we usually ship same day or the next business day. For backordered or special order items, we ship as soon as items are received. We use a combination of delivery services from USPS and UPS depending upon your location and weight package. Our Order Status system details services used and provides tracking numbers.
Back-orders and Special Order Items
In general, expect any items that are out-of-stock to ship within 7 to 30 days. We will contact you if we believe an item will take longer than 30 days to arrive, or if 30 days has elapsed and we have not yet received the item. In the event an item is special ordered, we do not require a minimum or deposit.
Credit and Debit Card Charges
We charge your credit card ONLY when items are shipped. When placing an order, your credit card will show an “approval” for the amount of the order but not an actual charge. If you use a debit card, your bank will deduct full amount of the purchase from your account and place it in a special “holding account.” We do not receive the funds until we finalize your order.
Returns and Cancellations
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase and items must be unused and in original packaging. Please contact us before returning items at email@example.com or call toll free 866.621.7779. We do not accept returns for books, patterns, or needles.
After making a purchase, you will be added to our newsletter mailing list. Newsletters contain knitting news and tips as well as information about new products. You may remove yourself from our mailing list at any time by clicking the UNSUBSCRIBE button clearly marked on each newsletter we publish.
