Privacy Policy

Artcraft Stores adheres to the highest standards in assuring your privacy. All information is handled with discretion and care. Below are our policies:

If you purchase an item or join our customer list, from time to time you will receive e-mails from us that we feel would be of interest to you. 

You can easily "unsubscribe" from our email list by clicking the link on each email. Opt-out requests are handled immediately the request is made.  Artcraft Stores will not share your e-mail address with any other company.

The material on this site is copyrighted and may not be copied or re-transmitted without the prior written consent.

Ordering Information

You can order directly through our website by adding the items you want to your shopping cart.   If you encounter any problems while ordering, please email us at service@royalyarns.com or call us at 202-215-2300.  We will be happy to assist you.

If your purchasing activity gets interrupted before finishing, the shopping cart automatically retains your order until you are ready to continue or delete.

Special Order Items

Our goal is to offer the full array of colors for each yarn we sell to give you the opportunity to select the "perfect" color for your project.  Since we can not carry all colors, we will gladly special order any item that is not already in stock.  Some items may take 1 week, while other items may take as long as 8 weeks or more to deliver to you, depending on the distributor or manufacturer constraints.  Regardless, we are happy to offer this service and only ask that you order the minimum quantities specified. 

Ordering Security and Convenience

We have partnered with Microsoft's Passport Express Purchase service.  This services allows to you protect your credit card shipping information in a secure and convenient third party location managed by Microsoft.  Once your information is secured in Passport, you simply click the icon in our shopping cart and submit your password.  The service automatically completes the order form and transcribes your credit card information with one-button simplicity.  Click Here to read more about the specific security features.

If you are not currently enrolled, click the Passport Express Purchase icon in our shopping and complete the form.  It's easy and convenient.

Payment Methods

We accept payment through Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.

We also accept checks and money orders.  Orders will be shipped once the checks have cleared, which may take up to 5 business days.  If you want speedier service, money orders will be better as we don't have to wait for that to clear with the bank.  Please send your check and money order to:

Sales Tax

We charge a 5% sales tax for orders delivered in the state of Maryland, Washington and Virginia

Returns

We accept returns within 14 days after receipt. Pattern leaflets and pattern books can not be returned.  Shipping is not reimbursed, unless it's our error. Please return items to the following address:

Also include a note, with your order number, to inform us of the return.

Shipping Information - United States

Orders are generally shipped out within 1 to 3 business days after payment receipt. Sometimes it could take up to 7 business days especially if some items are out of stock and are expected to arrive in a few days.  We will hold the order until those items arrive, unless otherwise instructed.

We do not automatically ship out backorders as many customers prefer to buy from other sources rather than wait for backorder.  If you want your backorder to be shipped out, please inform us.

You can choose to ship by these following methods; they all have tracking numbers:

UPS Ground - $8.00 - May take between 1 to 6 business days to deliver depending on your location. 

UPS 2 Days - $16.00 - 2 business days delivery. 

UPS Next Day - $28.00 - Guaranteed next business day delivery. 

USPS Priority Mail - In certain circumstances, we may opt to send your purchase via Priority mail if it will reach you faster than using UPS (e.g. weekend shipment.).

Shipping Information - International

International orders are shipped via Express Mail through the United States Postal Service. It takes generally one week and the cost includes insurance and a tracking number.  All international shipments are priced individually. We will get your confirmation of shipping costs BEFORE we processing your order.
